Women in the Woods
Redemption is one of those words that we use but don’t really spend time thinking about its meaning. More often than not we think about redemption in terms of coupons and gift cards. We know that redemption is a cornerstone of our faith, but many of us would be hard-pressed to explain how it impacts our life. Join us for Women in the Woods for an indepth look at the book of Ruth and discover again the joy of serving and loving Jesus, our Redeemer!
The Fall 2011 Women in the Woods retreat will be slightly different from those in the past. We want to make the fall retreat more available to those individuals who can only spare one night away from their families. The teaching will still be incredible, and the retreat will be packed with the same great singing and fun that you would expect from Women in the Woods. The retreat will run from Friday evening through Saturday evening, culminating with a special banquet.There is a Saturday Night Option for those wishing to spend an extra night to rest or enjoy unstructured time with friends. No meals are provided for Sunday, but the kitchen is available to all who stay.
Cost for the retreat is $70.00. This fee includes all teaching sessions, 3 meals, accommodations in the Elijah Retreat House and all activities.
Cost for commuters is $55.00 and includes everything except overnight accommodations.
Cost for the Saturday Night Option is an additional $15 per person.
Arrival Time: Guests may arrive anytime after 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 23, 2011. The retreat begins promptly at 7:00 p.m.
Meals: Meals that are included for the retreat are Saturday breakfast, lunch and a special banquet on Saturday evening.

Sleeping accommodations: The Elijah Retreat House has 6 rooms with 3 sets of bunk beds in each. They are claimed on a first come, first served basis. There are 2 spacious floor bathrooms.
Departure: The retreat concludes around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday evening for those not choosing the Saturday Night Option.
