OFF-SITE TRIPS
Off-Site Trip Locations
Off-site trips have become a wonderful component to the summer camp experience. Each summer, campers have the opportunity to go and see spectacular locations while participating in unique and exciting activities. Off-site trips take place on Tuesday and Thursday.
*campers K-2 do not participate in off-site trips.
Laurel Hill State Park (grades 3-5)
Location: 30 minutes south west of Pine Springs Camp on Route 31
Uses: Hiking, creek-walking, nature discovery, beach/swimming
Shawnee State Park (grades 6-8)
Location: 40 minutes east of Pine Springs Camp on Route 30.
Uses: canoeing, mountain biking, beach/swimming, hiking, fishing, field games
Ohiopyle State Park (grades 9-12)
Location: 1.5 hours south of Pine Springs Camp on Route 381
Uses: white water rafting*
* Rafting is an activity that we have set aside strictly for Expedition Adventure.
* All rafting trips are guided tours through White Water Adventurers.
