OFF-SITE TRIPS
Off-Site Trip Locations
Off-site trips have become a wonderful component to the summer camp experience. Each summer, campers have the opportunity to go and see spectacular locations while participating in unique and exciting activities. Off-site trips take place on Wednesday or Thursday.
*campers K-2 do not participate in off-site trips.
Exploration (3rd-5th Grade) Off-site Trip
Exploration Classic campers will enjoy a trip to the Bog during their week
at PSC. The nearby Spruce Flats Bog is a unique, high-altitude bog with an
incredible ecosystem that is sure to fascinate campers. Campers will enjoy
a nature scavenger hunt and learn about Leave No Trace principles all while
enjoying the beauty of God’s Creation with their camp friends!

Journey (6th-8th Grade) Off-site Trip
Journey Classic campers will explore the beautiful Quemahoning Reservoir
by canoe and mountain bike on our Pedal / Paddle trip! This multi-faceted
wilderness adventure has something for everyone. Campers will have the
opportunity to experience a variety of mini adventures as they rotate through
three different activities at the Que: bikes, boats and beach!

Expedition (9th-12th Grade) Off-site Trip
As our most experienced campers, senior high students have the incredible
opportunity to participate in one of the most exciting wilderness adventures
out there...rafting class III and IV rapids on the Lower Youghiogheny River in
Ohiopyle, PA! Hold on tight as your crew navigates the rapids! Each raft will
have its very own professional white water guide, providing the safest
rafting experience possible for our campers. This adventure is sure to create
memories that will last a lifetime!
