Exploration(grades 3-5)



Exploration camps are for campers who have completed grades 3-5. These camps take campers deeper into God's Word through daily Bible Interactions designed to challenge their thinking and help them understand more about who God is and how He relates to people. These campers will engage in team building activities such as our challenge course, climbing walls and tower and intiative activities to help them understand how to work as a team. Other activities for this age group include, but are not limited to, arts and crafts, field games, swimming, campfires and off-site trips.
 
2012 Exploration Camp Dates:       Cost: 3-day camps: $105 per camper
                                                               5-day camps: $355 per camper
Week One: June 10-15
     Exploration 3-Day (Sun. - Wed.)
        Exploration 3-Day allows campers who have not been to Pine Springs
        before to get acquainted with out camp. Although the camp goes from
        Sunday to Wednesday, campers enjoy a complete Pine Springs experience!
 
Week Two: June 17-22
   Adventure Week Exploration
        Adventure Week Exploration offers campers a chance to experience a little
        bit of everything at PSC but mainly focuses on adventure activities.
        Campers will participate in adventure activities such as our sling shot
        range and orienteering as well as using our climbing tower. Campers will
        also sleep out under the stars one night. Adventure Week Exploration
        campers will go canoeing for their off-site trip.
 
Week Three: June 24-29
   Adventure Exploration
        Adventure Exploration is the PSC version of traditional camp. These
        campers will participate in outdoor activities such as hiking, climbing and
        group intiatives.
   Theater Exploration
        Theater Exploration follows in the great tradition of Broadway Camp.
        Campers will rehearse during the week to put on a "stellar" week ending
        performance.
    Wet-N-Wild Exploration
        Wet-N-Wild Exploration offers campers the choice to spend more time in
        the water. All camps have pool time and a pool party, but Wet-N-Wild
        campers spend more time playing pool games and going on an off-site,
        water related trip.
     
Week Six: July 15-20
    Adveture Exploration (see description above)
    Nature Exploration
        Nature Exploration campers will explore different habitats, animals and
        plant wildlife, and will develop introductory survival skills in creative and
        fun ways.
 
Week Seven: July 22-27
    Adventure Exploration (see description above)
 
Week Eight: July 29 - August 3
